What is TRT?

If you are not eligible for TRT, your fee will be refunded.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team at support@prometheuz.com. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, submit your cancellation request at least 72 hours before your next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for amounts already billed. Lab fees and pharmacy charges are non-refundable once services have been completed.

Does Prometheuz accept insurance?

Prometheuz is a cash-pay platform and does not bill insurance directly. Most specialized online TRT clinics operate this way — insurance billing adds prior authorizations, coverage denials, and delays that slow your care down significantly. Your membership fee covers everything in one flat rate. We provide itemized receipts that you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA funds can typically be used toward your membership and lab costs.

Who are the clinicians treating me?

All clinical care at Prometheuz is provided by independent, US-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners who are credentialed through their state medical boards and registered with the DEA — required for prescribing testosterone, which is a Schedule III controlled substance. After you complete your assessment and lab work, you're matched with a licensed clinician online for your appointment. You choose your appointment time from available slots in your patient portal once you purchase a membership plan.

Are my health records secure?

Yes. All health information on the Prometheuz platform is protected under HIPAA — the federal law that governs the privacy and security of medical records. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access-controlled, and never sold to third parties. Your health records are shared only with the clinicians involved in your care, lab partners processing your bloodwork, and pharmacies fulfilling your prescriptions — exactly as required to provide your treatment.

Yes. Prometheuz is fully HIPAA compliant. Your Protected Health Information — including your lab results, health history, and clinical notes — is handled in accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule and Security Rule. You have the right to access your records, request corrections, and receive an accounting of how your information has been disclosed. What happens to my medical records if I cancel?

Your medical records are retained as required by applicable state and federal law — typically a minimum of seven years for adult patients. You retain the right to access your records at any time after cancellation by contacting privacy@prometheuz.com. Cancellation ends your access to the patient portal and clinical services but does not result in deletion of your health records. If you ever return to Prometheuz, your history is on file.
