Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Prometheuz, our treatments, and your care.

Getting Started

Prometheuz is a modern telehealth platform connecting patients with licensed physicians who specialize in hormone optimization, including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and other evidence-based wellness protocols. We make physician-guided care accessible, convenient, and affordable — from the comfort of your home.

Getting started is simple. Complete our brief health intake questionnaire, which takes about five minutes. A licensed provider on our platform will review your information and, if appropriate, order lab work. Once your labs are reviewed, your provider will create a personalized treatment plan and walk you through next steps.

We are actively expanding across the United States. Availability depends on state telehealth regulations and licensed provider coverage. Join our waitlist and we will notify you as soon as service launches in your state.

Once you are on the waitlist, you will receive a confirmation email. When we launch in your area, you will be among the first to know and will receive a priority invitation to complete your intake. Waitlist spots are filled in the order they are received.

Treatments

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a medically supervised treatment that restores testosterone levels in men whose bodies no longer produce adequate amounts. Low testosterone — also called hypogonadism — is associated with fatigue, reduced muscle mass, low libido, mood changes, and difficulty concentrating. TRT is prescribed and monitored by licensed physicians and delivered in several forms, including injections, topical gels, and subcutaneous pellets.

Candidacy is determined by a licensed provider based on your symptoms, medical history, and lab results. Generally, men with clinically low testosterone levels and corresponding symptoms may be candidates. Certain conditions, such as prostate or breast cancer, are contraindications. Your provider will review everything and discuss options that are right for you.

Results vary by individual. Many patients report improvements in energy and mood within the first four to six weeks. Physical changes such as increased muscle mass and reduced body fat typically become noticeable at the three- to six-month mark. Optimal results generally require consistent treatment for six to twelve months. Your provider will monitor your progress throughout.

When prescribed and monitored by a qualified physician, TRT is considered safe for appropriate candidates. Like all medical treatments, it carries potential risks and side effects, which your provider will discuss in detail during your consultation. Regular lab monitoring is a core part of our protocol to ensure your therapy remains safe and effective over time.

Billing & Subscription

Pricing varies based on the treatment plan recommended by your provider. We offer transparent, all-inclusive subscription pricing that covers provider consultations, ongoing monitoring, and medication where appropriate. Specific pricing will be presented to you before you commit to any plan. Visit our pricing page or contact support for current rates.

Yes. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team at [email protected]. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please submit your cancellation request at least 72 hours before your billing date. Please review our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.

Your subscription typically includes access to a licensed provider, all required consultations (live video or asynchronous), lab order coordination, ongoing monitoring of your treatment protocol, medication through our partnered pharmacy network, and access to our care support team. Specific inclusions depend on your plan.

Prometheuz is currently a self-pay platform and does not accept insurance directly. However, many patients find our pricing competitive with or lower than insurance-covered alternatives after accounting for copays and deductibles. We provide itemized receipts that you may submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Medical & Privacy
